QUALIFICATIONS FOR
PURDUE EPE MS & MSE DEGREES
Students with an undergraduate degree in engineering
from an ABET accredited institution qualify for the
MSE (Master of Science in Engineering) degree. Students
with an undergraduate degree from a non-ABET accredited
engineering program or from a closely related area to
engineering, such as computer science, mathematics or
physics qualify for the MS (Master’s of Science) degree.
Designated Kelley courses may be applied toward your
Purdue degree, with a total of at least 60 credit hours
required to obtain both degrees.
Once the student is admitted and completes 30 hours
of courses on the Purdue Plan of Study maintaining a
cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 (B) out
of 4.0 (A), the student is eligible to graduate with
the MS or MSE degree from Purdue. At that time the student
may begin work on the MBA degree from Kelley.
After completing 60 credits maintaining a cumulative
grade-point average of at least 3.0 (B) out of 4.0 (A),
the student will be eligible to receive the MBA degree
from Kelley.
